The “warm-weather” version of prep is all about hydration and protection. To get the most out of your electrolysis session:
1. Put down the tweezers: No waxing or plucking! We need that follicle in the anagen phase to treat it effectively. Trimming is totally okay.
2. Come as you are: Skip the self-tanner, heavy makeup, or fragrance on the treatment area the day of your visit.
3. Hydrate: Your skin (and nervous system) handles treatment much better when you’re well-hydrated.
4. Time it right: If you have a big beach trip or a photo shoot, try to schedule your session a few days prior to give your skin time to settle.
