To do our diva justice, we tailored this style to give Zola a sleek look, but keep it from going full “ch-ch-ch-Chia!”

Keeping length on top and around her face lends weight where its needed. While tapering the sides and back makes a beautiful, soft silhouette that accentuates her elegant features.

This is 40.

Over the past year I’ve been looking forward to this milestone and focusing on what I want my life to look like for 40 and beyond.

I needed to make some big changes to prioritize my health.

I’m now 5 months in to changing my relationship with alcohol, getting on a prescription for anxiety and reducing my work load.

Guys. The results? So good… 💜😊

I wish I could say that was enough, but the truth is that addiction and mental health are complex and intertwined.

Unfortunately, neither are ever “solved” and social stigma prevents those of us struggling from sharing stories and seeking treatment.

I’m always going to be a “work in progress” but I’m proud of the strides I’ve made, and grateful to those who supported and inspired me along the way. You’ll never know how much it continues to mean to me.
