Time to prepare for your appointment ~ here's what I suggest for best results:

✨Make sure to grow your hair out for at least 2 weeks before scheduling your appointment, then book online or reach out to me, and wait for your appt confirmation text

✨Take a luxurious bath, with the works, 1-2 nights before your appointment because 24hrs after your fresh sugar you want to avoid any lotions, exfoliation, or anything that could clog your pores or irritate your skin

✨Being hydrated will help lessen any sensitivity you may have during the service, and if you’re especially nervous take an ibuprofen or Advil 30mins before you come in

✨Wear your comfies! (If you can, not required) After your sugar you will want to wear loose, comfortable clothes; try avoiding lacy or tightly fitted garments for intimate areas

✨Avoiding caffeine the day of your service also helps to lessen sensitivity, after your service definitely feel free to pick up your coffee - you deserve a treat!💛

Your hair should be around a 1/4-1/2 inch, about the length of a grain of rice. A good test is if you are able to pinch your hair off of your skin, it’s likely I’ll be able to sugar it!
This is typically around at least 2 weeks of growth, with no shaving or trimming, before your first visit. But if you can hold out even longer, the better.
Your first service is always the most difficult to grow out but once you start sugaring the results will speak for themselves and you’ll be hooked 🍯

Let’s all be hairfree & carefree this summer and 🙃

Sugaring? Who is she?
•
Sugaring is the ancient Egyptian, natural method of hair removal on the body. Made from only three ingredients: sugar, water, & lemon juice 🍋
This golden dollop is all we need to take care all of your hair removal needs. No sticks or strips, meaning less waste & less irritation on your skin. Yay for sensitive skin friendly 💫
Sugaring slows & thins hair re-growth meaning the more you do it, the less you’ll need to do it!

Curious about sugaring but have some questions & nerves? Feel free to ask away! 🍯

Happy December!! ❄️🎄
•
Can we believe we’re at the last month of the year?
I cannot but I figured it’s about time for me to introduce myself on here and show my face 🙃
I’m Tori, the owner & esthetician of Citrine, and I wanted to share a little bit about myself
•
A few things about me-
1) I’m from Anchorage, AK and Seattle is the only place I’ve lived outside of my hometown
2) I’ve lived with the same two roommates, in the same place for all 7 of those years & it’s one of my proudest accomplishments 💘 (we’re moving soon 😭)
3) I’m happily in a relationship with my partner of about 3 years, who supports me in every way & boosts me up when I’m down
4) I love nature and being outside but I’m especially obsessed with flowers & sunsets 🥲 so special
5) I love to travel and experience new things. I’ve been to 14 countries outside of the US and I hope to get the chance to explore many many more
6) I’ve been an Esthetician for 6 years and specialize in sugaring but am branching out into new services slowly but surely
7) I absolutely cherish every client relationship I have and genuinely want to give each of you a warm, supportive space to take care of yourselves
8) I am a student of Social Work at UW and have a passion for helping and uplifting others - in my mind beauty & social work are closely related and I’ve got big plans to prove it 😏
9) I’m social media shy!! I have an interesting relationship w/ social media and it’s been a challenge to show up in this space but it’s exciting to push out of my comfort zone to learn how to market myself and my business
10) I am a curious lil cat and absolutely love to learn & ask questions, tell me what you’re passionate about and I’ll dive right in
•
There’s 10 things about me & if you made it to the end, I hope I get to see you in person soon!
Can’t thank you enough for the support & patience I’ve been shown thus far and am feeling optimistic about this holiday season ✨
