I’m Jennifer Atchico-Shrestha, founder of Iconic Winyan and an accomplished makeup artist.

I’m a proud enrolled member of the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma and the Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma on my father’s side, and from my mother’s side, I am Dakota Sioux and Nakoda Assiniboine. (And yes, thanks to one old auntie’s adventure, I’m also 1/32 European—ayyyeee! 😉). Plus I’m an Army Veteran. Aho. 🪶

My journey has taken me all across Turtle Island and around the world — from Paris Fashion Week to Dubai Fashion Week and even the Cannes Film Festival.

Through every brushstroke and every stage, I carry my ancestors with me. This is what it means to be Transcending Indigenous Beauty.
