At Rainier Hair Studio it’s a beautiful day to get your hair cut! Walk-ins are welcome too. Since we leave gender out of our menu pricing here is the scoop on how to book your next appointment at Rainier:

🐝Need a quick neck and side clean up on a short hair? Schedule for 10 minutes.

👩🏼‍🦰Want a quick trim for short hair? Then come in with washed hair and we got you for 20 minutes.

👧🏻Do you need your luscious layers cleaned up or need a stylish fade but don’t have a ton of time and don’t care about it getting styled? Does your kiddo need a sweet haircut? Book for 30 or 45 minutes.

👸🏾Maybe you need to be pampered and want the full on salon experience with shampoo, cut, and blowout on medium to long hair? Then book 1.5 hours to make sure we have the time to treat you like the royalty you are.

👩🏼‍🎤Did someone say they need color or highlights? All the colors are here honey. That’s going to take a bit more time so for first time clients book a complimentary consult and we can decide how long you need.

No matter your needs or the level of attention you want, we got you! Everyone is different in terms of how they want to feel in the salon. We are here to make you feel your best!

If you’ve been coming to Rainier for a while, you’ve probably noticed Dolly on the wall. Funny thing is—she wasn’t supposed to stay. She first showed up during our Small Business Saturday market back in 2024, and something about her just… fit. I never took her down. She’s been part of the shop ever since.

I grew up in West Seattle—on milkshakes from Luna Park and, honestly, on Dolly. She’s always felt like home to me. Strong, steady, and full of heart. The kind of energy I hope you feel when you walk through our doors.

When I started Rainier, I didn’t realize how much her spirit would anchor this space. But it makes sense: she built her career to support her family. That’s what this shop is for me. Every long day, every new project, every stylist I cheer on—it’s all rooted in something bigger.

Rainier is about creating a place where people can show up exactly as they are. Just like Dolly, we believe in kindness, courage, and chasing something beautiful.

So no, she might not scream Pacific Northwest culture—but she is Rainier culture.

We wanted to let you know that we were just informed last night that Crystal is no longer working at Rainier. Like many of you, we were surprised by the news.

It’s been over two years since we began this journey together, and it’s truly been an honor to work alongside her. We’re genuinely sorry to see her go and deeply grateful for the time, talent, and heart she brought to the shop.

If we hear where she’ll be working before she relocates from Seattle, we’ll be sure to send out another update so you can stay connected if you’d like.
