My intention for the upcoming year is to stay rooted in perspective. The world can feel like it’s spinning fast (& chaotically) but every time I’m in nature & being present w/ my people it feels tolerable, peaceful even! I’m so grateful both my parents are healthy and my siblings + chosen family are too. It’s easy to take our health for granted while we’re young & I’m appreciative of having a healthy body, mind, & spirit.

i’m setting up my altar for dia de los mu***os & came across pictures i’ve never seen of my great-grandma, grandma, & aunts. i love being Mexican-American & it’s so important for me to be representative of that fact in my business. i’m 6 years into being a small business owner (today!) & although it’s been a wild ride, i’m so appreciative of it everyday. it just makes sense to me that my business anniversary lines up with a full harvest super moon 🌕 this moon can heighten emotions/intuition, it’s a potent time to set manifestations or intentions, & also be an invitation for reflection & gratitude. truly love all of you who have supported me through the years!!

WHAT IS PDRN?
PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) aka salmon DNA is usually derived from salmon s***m or milt which is extremely rich in nucleotides. it sounds intense but it’s processed & purified for medical + cosmetic use. it’s known to be biocompatible with human skin & is great for healing, repairing, & rejuvenating skin.

WHO DOES IT BENEFIT?
•acne scarred skin for repair & regeneration

•dry, sensitive, or compromised skin for barrier healing

•anyone post procedure because it speeds up healing & reduces downtime

personally, i like this treatment best when paired with microneedling or nanoneedling because most of the data, even in the therapeutics realm, is concentrated in general skin health & skin healing. it’s a buzzy word in the skincare game & that can be murky territory with so many trends that come & go. bottom line: the data isn’t there for me to suggest using PDRN in your skincare daily BUT i do love it as an in-studio treatment paired with a service like microneedling.
