Massage Therapy My massage business is based on the belief that the client’s needs are of the utmost importance.

Therefore, I am committed to meeting those needs by customizing each session accordingly. As a result, a high percentage of my business is from repeat clients and referrals. I have 16 years experience as a massage therapist. I am licensed in both TX and WA having trained at the Institute of Bodywork Studies in Texas and the Northwest School of Massage in Washington. I have advanced training in several modalities and am looking forward to customizing a massage just for you.

To all my lovely clients,

I was hoping to be up and running by now, but due to a recent shoulder injury I received, I will need to take a few months off to heal up. I will reach out just as soon as I’m able to schedule. In the meantime, please take care of yourselves and reach out if I can be of service in other ways or if you need a referral elsewhere.
See you soon!

With gratitude,
DeLana

Update: All appointments for next week have been filled. Thank you so much! There are a couple of openings the week of July 31st.

I am happy to announce that I am having a soft “re-opening” next week during EveryBody Deserves a Massage Week. I have 3 appointments available and I am sure they will fill up fast. The dates and times available for next week are listed below, along with my new rates. I have had the same rates for the past 20 years, so it was time for an increase with the increasing cost of supplies.

Regular scheduling will begin July 31st. Call 425-760-4154 to book your appointment. I am looking forward to seeing you all! 💜

Today, I spent some time in here cleaning and checking on supplies that I need to purchase before reopening. This room is truly magical. So peaceful. 💜

I am excited to announce that after an extremely long hiatus, I am in the process of reopening my massage studio. I’m still about six weeks out due to recovery times from surgeries, but I will be reaching out to start booking clients mid-May. I appreciate your patience and am looking forward to seeing you all.

I continue to get inquiries daily from clients wanting massages. As much as I would love to be open, I am still not comfortable reopening.

Family members in my home, myself included, are high risk. I am in no way ready to put myself, my family, my clients or my community in harms way.

In the meantime, please take care of yourselves. I promise, you will be the first to know when I am comfortable with giving 60-90 minute “hugs”. Love and many blessings to you all. 💜

Visualizing the Occupations with the Highest COVID-19 Risk 05/25/2020

I have been getting lots of inquiries as to when I will be seeing clients again. Sadly, I still do not have an answer. The DOH is working on plans as to what it will look like for massage therapy reopening in our state. Another therapist wrote that doing massage is like hugging someone for 60-90 minutes. As much as I truly miss working with my clients, I am definitely not ready to go there anytime soon. I do not want to contract the virus and I absolutely don’t want to give it to anyone should I become a carrier. Right now there are discussions of wearing a disposable gown, masks for therapist and clients, face shields, gloves, taking temperatures of clients, etc. There is no telling how long it will be before I am able to safely, comfortably reopen. I miss you all and miss this work more than you know. Take care! 💜

"Top 100 high-risk occupations. Massage Therapy came in 51st with a 52.8% risk"

Visualizing the Occupations with the Highest COVID-19 Risk As millions of people continue to show up for work during the COVID-19 pandemic, many face a higher risk of potential exposure to the virus.

Hoping that this passes soon. I really miss doing massage. I am so looking forward to seeing you all on my table. 💜
