I hope everyone out here is taking care of themselves - perhaps search up the idea of 'sleep hygiene' which for many is super screwed up currently, due to cortisol/ light changes/ name your anxiety...
Also - if you are in the PNW and NOT taking Vit D with fish oil, you are doing yourself/your immune system a grave disservice.
Here in Seattle, naturopaths will often recommend about 10,000 IU, to make up deficiency -
Symptoms include fatigue, muscle pain, hair loss, depression/sadness...

Anyone care to share some of their current self-care tactics?
I'll start - I am working on my sleep.
I know now it is not just a simple, automatic thing, rest - but a complex moment that requires some simple yet dedicated rules. One of my challenges - not keeping myself up because of what I 'used to do', but remembering I am not in my 30's anymore, and frankly have a very different body I live it.
SLEEP HYGIENE! Great concept. Try it

This is interesting to read - unhappy it is so expensive, but I will be interested to see where this research leads

For my pregnant clients and their partners- this is a super helpful visual explanation of how muscular contractions work during childbirth! (Except for the 'pop' at the end! 🤣 )
