I’ve narrowed some wedding advice every bride should hear from what I’ve seen over the last 23 years as a makeup artist.

The biggest take away:
Don’t let other people dictate what YOU want.

I cannot tell you how many brides I’ve watched get swayed by family opinions until their wedding no longer feels like theirs at all. This is your permission slip to stop people pleasing your way through your engagement.

Sense of Emergency

While I’ve worked short narrative pieces for clients like Amazon, this was the first short film I’ve worked and I wouldn’t have picked any other team to work alongside. The first day you walk on set you know whether there is a vibe, good or bad, but with steering the ship, we knew it was only great humans and great vibes surrounding her. During the screening, one of the crew put it perfectly: Maddie is a magnet for good and talented people. One of those people being who was incredible to watch and an absolute boss. Being in orbit with these two was wild and I’m grateful to have shared the time.

Make sure you follow as it makes its rounds on the festival circuit. The more eyes the better! Yes you- go follow!
