Balance Bodyworks seeks exceptional massage therapist for full or part time position.

Balance Bodyworks is a small therapeutic massage clinic in Queen Anne which has a reputation for providing exceptional massage therapy to our community. We believe in providing the highest quality massage and taking the best care of our valued therapists. We have a full schedule and are looking to grow.

This is an employee position with great flexibility and paid time off. We believe in compensating our therapists even if clients no-show.
At Balance Bodyworks we have a holistic minded approach to therapeutic massage and do mostly ninety minute sessions. Therapists receive $82.50 per ninety minute session plus tips (usually 20%). That can mean taking home almost $350 (before taxes) per shift of three ninety minute massages. Or $5,500 per month at 12 ninety minute massages per week. That’s $66,000 per year at 4 days a week.

We're currently looking to fill Fridays and Saturdays, morning and evening shifts and weekday mornings first.

Therapists will be responsible for checking their clients in and out as well as washing and thoughtfully folding their own laundry. Of course, sheets and towels and all necessary oils and supplies are provided.

Exceptional Massage Therapist Wanted
Balance Bodyworks is a busy massage therapy studio looking to grow and is seeking a talented, experienced practitioner to serve the Queen Anne community. This a contractor position with a highly competitive compensation structure. 20-30 hours per week.

We need a massage therapist who can:

Assess thoroughly and treat each client based on their individual needs

Conduct themselves in a professional and soothing manner in all aspects of customer interaction.

Amaze and impress customers by providing desired results and fostering return visits and positive reviews.

Practitioners will need to create an experience for their guests from time of arrival through checkout. Customer service experience is a plus!

Practitioner will be responsible for doing their own laundry resulting in clean, professionally folded sheets and towels.

Ability to handle any unexpected circumstances gracefully is a must.

Had a crazy night last week. Got called by a movie producer and was asked to go on set in the Space Needle restaurant to provide massage for the actors and crew.

They did so many takes of the dinner scene. Every time they said "action" they would start the conveyor belt moving the restaurant round and round. Then....every time they said "cut" they would reset and rewind the restaurant back to the start. Was there til 2:30 in the morning.

Fun times!
