When my friend Kayla with Adventure Elopement Photographer | Utah + PNW + South America asked me to join her in Costa Rica to style Kelli it was a huge yes!
I knew what I was up for, having styled in Hawaii and Louisiana many times before I knew humidity plus hair are not bff’s. And factor in one gorgeous waterfall and it’s a race against time. All in all, Kelli looked amazing throughout the day. We started before sunrise with soft half up half down curls, those turned in to beach waves by mid day and then I changed that look in to a gorgeous beach friendly updo.
Makeup we just vibed and glowed ✨

This year alone, I’ve had nearly 30 sunrise stylings! That is a huge # and shift in elopement planning and keep in mind I took most of June off for my own wedding 🤪 PS I have at least 12 sunrise appointments to go before the end of the year!

They are not for the night owls, they are definitely for the morning birds and take a lot of discipline with sleep to pull off.

But, when you see the photos you get it! Roz and Sam didn’t have a super early trail start but instead a long fun day so makeup and hair for everyone started at 4 am 🦉🌒

I loved creating this look for her, super glam with braids and twists for this vibey updo!

I am heartbroken 💔
I took this photo yesterday and had no idea this would be the last photo of my girl I would take. Avey you were the best pup!
13.5 years was just not enough time with this little love of my life.
She was the first dog I ever had as an adult and the best girl by far. I’ll miss her crazy ball chasing s***k, rest easy little beans!
