Our Story

I am a freelance hair stylist, behind the chair since 2004, working at Modify Hair Lounge, in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle. I am very passionate about the artistry that is formulating color and sculpting hair. Specializing in bespoke color application, cutting and event styling, I strive to create beautiful everyday wearable hair.

Continued education is a priority. One I invest in by attending various classes and industry events throughout the year. I've engaged in everything from color/cutting techniques with Kevin Murphy, Aveda and Vidal Sassoon to texture and editorial styling for photo shoots...even podcasts about communication! Aside from formal education, I take note of my time behind the chair. All of this enables me to enhance your experience.

Whether you prefer a solid color, foils, melting or a blend of techniques such as Ombre, Baylayage and Ecaille. I don't believe in flat color. Depth, shine and a bit of translucency is how I roll. Allow me to customize color to suit your cut or vice versa. Whether you rock bright blonde or prefer a more casual low maintenance look, I can create color that fits your needs and schedule.

Event styling is what initially brought me to hair dressing, and there isn't much that intimidates me. Allow me to fabricate, then dye to match clip-in hair extensions if the style you desire requires a bit more length or density. Weddings are always a good time and I am available for on site styling.
