Are you still afraid of saturated fat? This is an excellent overview and there are links to the original study here as well. Most surprising bit? Eating less saturated fat did lower cholesterol but INCREASED RISK OF DEATH. We have got to stop talking about total cholesterol as the problem...forget that number. Raise your HDL! Lower Triglycerides! That's what has been shown to reduce heart disease and mortality. How do you do that? Eat less carb and MORE healthy natural fat from meat, dairy, avocados, olives etc. Vegetable oil causes inflammation in the body and is SO processed.

I'm surprised that we haven't heard more about this in the news, a huge study showed that mortality was LOWEST in the "overweight" BMI category. So set your weight loss goals reasonably and focus on how you feel, not so much on a number!

More great evidence that listening to your body is just fine, even if it doesn't want breakfast. Quality randomized controlled studies have shown that skipping breakfast does not make you fat (and it doesn't slow down your metabolism either). Break your fast whenever you're genuinely hungry and trust your body!
