The healthy barrier left there will help to protect and reduce the sensitivity until natural nails grow out completely, an average 4-8 weeks to grow out from cuticle to free edge of natural nails.
- In short, natural nails needs a transition from thick to thin and to bare nails, no extreme changes in conditions.
- Gel nails don’t cause damage (with proper prep), BUT removal nail enhancement without leaving a healthy barrier for protection to eliminate the sensitivity may cause potential damage.
