Haven't done my makeup in ages and actually filmed how I got the look for once. Video will hopefully be up soon! Also better shots of my glasses! Not a sponsored post, I just really love the glasses. 1 they go with my purple makeup and 2 they match my all my piercings. I wish it was in silver since that's what all my jewelry is. But still cute and I get compliments on them whenever I wear them outside the house.

Got an industrial done on my right ear yesterday! Grateful I could keep my helix piercing as well. I was feeling awful bc of a lack of energy from my chronic illness and pain symptoms. My normal fatigue and the sudden heat wave was kicking my bootay. But I didn't want to cancel the appt. Both mentor and mentee .skelly said I was a badass for still coming and doing this during that time of the month, but I'm pretty sure I've had other piercings done like that over the years. TBH my cramps are worse than a quick piercing and often feel like πͺ pains as well. The full blown cramps kicked in once I got home, which was probably why I was feeling so off leading up to the appt. π« I may not be smiling in the one pic bc of how my symptoms were flaring, but I am extremely happy with the industrial! Also enjoy the cute piercing glasses from .
I can honestly say my conch piercings hurt more than this, and stung for a good week after having them done bc the cartilage was thicker. This feels like my helix tbh, which wasn't too bad. The conches and this industrial were such wonderful experiences at Nexus Studio. Lynn and Alex walk you through every step of the process, so you know what to expect, including the healing process. Both were so kind and just as excited as you are about the new piercings. Looking for q***r owned businesses to support this Pride month of June, I highly recommend them! Although I think you should support them year round. π

I have been a long time fan, and even got into trouble for being on their fan boards at 14 y/o π. But I made some friends that I still talk to today, including my long time bestie who I still chat with regularly.
First time I saw them, I dragged a bunch of friends from school along to the Puyallup fair in 9th grade (I think I was 14?). That was the first time I saw their logo on a shirt and thought, "Oh I understand why people get tattoos now." Swipe to the second to last pic for the signed artwork I got as a tattoo when I was 19! The last pic is the tattoo!
The last time I saw Hoobastank in Seattle was 2008. It was a skateboarding event at the Key Arena. I was screaming my heart out from the above the showcase area. Someone with a pass waved me down so they could 'have a real fan to sing to' during their set. I geeked out and asked another person to take a pic for me bc I couldn't believe I got to be front row for it. The security guard was not impressed, but Hoobastank posted the picture a few years later to their socials. π I also got my first Hoobastank guitar pick from that show.
In 2009, I messaged on a whim about making the trip to Portland to see them again. He was so sweet, he put me on the guest list. I ran into Dan first as my friends and I headed to the venue. He looked at me and asked my age: I was 19, and it was a 21 and over show. Once we got to the venue, Dan told Doug about it, and they did not let that stop me from having an amazing time. Doug made sure to get me a chair so I was technically outside the venue's propped open tent flap, so I could still watch the show. It's one of my favorite concert stories to this day. I had them all sign the art that I was getting tattooed on my back a month or so after the show (it was my first!). We ran out of time with the group shot bc they needed to make it to their next event, but I'm forever grateful for that day.
They're finally coming back to Seattle this summer and I can't wait! You know this girl won't let her wheelchair stop her from having a good time with one of her favorite bands. π₯°βΎοΈ

Unfortunately I wasn't able to film application of this, since after the first use of this I ended up with a super itchy scalp, and I had to immediately wash it off with another shampoo. I did notice since I applied this to the rest of my hair (and only focused the second shampoo at my scalp area), it made my lower section of hair feel softer when I got out of the shower. If you enjoy florals, you probably wouldn't mind the rose fragrance of this shampoo. As I said in this review, it smells nice and fresh like crisp flowers. No powdery rose scent here! It worked well at cutting the grease of my scalp, but that could also be due to the fact that I had to use another shampoo to wash this one out. Because I had a mostly negative reaction to this formula, I had to give it a low rating. For reference, I have thick and long hair as well. I couldn't figure out from the packaging what may have caused the reaction unfortunately. 2 out of 5 stars for me.

If you are looking for a gentle Vitamin C formula, look no further than the C-Luma Hydrabright Gentle Vitamin C Serum by Drunk Elephant. It is a 10% vit C formula, and it features hydrating ingredients like sodium hyaluronate (which is derived from hyaluronic acid), squalane, and marula oil. Just like other products from this brand, this formula is free from essential oils, fragrances, and dyes. I also appreciate the lid on this bottle. The lid mechanism needs to be clicked in an out of place in order to be used. It's less likely to be triggered by accident in your travel bag.

I never know what to expect of lippie products, especially scented ones. With my allergies and asthma, half the time products don't work for me. I'm happy to say that was not the case with these four lovely flavored products! I was so happy they smelled and tasted as advertised. No funky flavors that don't taste like they were described! Plus, these glide onto your lips with ease! Super smooth, and hydrating. They also lasted through some meals and drinks which was also impressive. My favorites were definitely the strawberry and citrus options, since I love most things fruity. But the mint and coconut were still good. Not a single bad flavor in the bunch which was surprising in a good way. Definitely recommend if you're looking to restock your lip balms! Easy for on the go application too.

First official photoshoot for Pillo (pee-yo, our little rascal). It's a lil late bc of his ear infection, so his hair was pretty greasy from the ointment. We gave him a bath today, and immediately did the photoshoot. But I wanted to commemorate getting him around Christmas. We also practiced the sit command with Pillo this last week. They're both so stinking cute! Pillo's blond roots are coming in on his head. So he'll likely be more blond than Osito in a few months. Happy holidays from my family to yours! Even if it's a little late. π May 2026 treat us all well. β€οΈπ«

As always I love a line that agrees with my sensitive skin! All of their products (except for their face masks) are fragrance free. I really enjoyed the BarrierFix line that I got to test out, and have used it multiple times this December. I've always woken up with happy skin that isn't as flaky as it is on days where I don't have the energy to apply skincare. The textures were so nice with these products. Plus I love the fact that the ingredients are printed on each product bottle/tube. Not just on a box. You can also find these three items as a set with their New Year's sale and get the bundle for 50% off! So check it out now!

As I said in the video, there are many things to love about this formula. Its water resistant for up to 80 minutes, meaning it will also last through sweat. The scent is extremely minimal (and only lightly smells of a traditional SPF smell). To be honest I've had other SPFs smell was stronger than this one. Because it is a bar, it applies easily on the go, and you don't get any product on your fingers (unless you want to, I sometimes apply to my nose area with my finger to make sure I got every nook and cranny in that area). This is a non-greasy option that still moisturizes your skin well. One thing I forgot to mention in the video: there was no pilling with wear for this formula, which is amazing! Nothing worse than skincare that pills in my opinion. I highly recommend this as a waterproof SPF stick!
