ONE OF THESE THINGS IS NOT LIKE THE OTHER.

I’ve been doing this for over 7 years and sometimes I still struggle with certain fragrance oils y’all. And this last one is killing me.
I am 2 for 3 with unsuccessful results, and the one that was semi cooperative still misbehaved. There is a science to soaping, I tell people it’s like baking: you have to add the right ingredients at the right time at the right temperature and if you don’t it will misbehave.
Some fragrance oils will cause the batter to “seize” meaning it heats up very quickly and firms up to a point where you cannot manipulate the mixture. You just have to mix it up and throw it in the mold before it’s completely hardened.
That’s what happened here. It looks like cheese! 😫 I sell it steeply discounted and people still think it smells great, but the aesthetics are just not there for me.
I will lick my wounds and retry once again in a few days.
