My favorite and easiest style to date, my natural waves! Tips I’ve learned in the past few months.

1. My waves love slip products more than grip. They need a lot of moisture and humidity in the air, in order to bounce. Therefore, more slip when I’m in dryer climates.

2. It’s okay to dry hair from sopping wet or from twisting in a towel. If I go from sopping wet, they will be super flat. If I twist my hair into a towel and apply product after it’s been sitting for a little bit getting a lot of the water out, I get these waves. Either way, I love them.

3. Cut your hair when your ends are starting to straighten. Idk what it is, but waves love freshly cut ends. The healthier the hair, the better the curl.

4. I always finish with a diffuser, apply a generous amount of oil, and scrunch out the crunch or slap them silly to break up the hard shell from grippy products.
