Green is the color of renewal, balance, and growth. It reminds us to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with ourselves and the natural world. At Spa Noir, green represents the grounding energy that helps us feel restored, centered, and ready to begin again.
Last week, I had the honor of giving a dear friend’s daughter her very first facial.
There is something so special about a first facial. Every esthetician loves that moment when someone sees and touches their skin afterward—the look of surprise and joy, often followed by, “I never knew my skin could feel like this.” Music to our ears.
But even more importantly, it’s an opportunity to show someone that they deserve to take time out of their hectic life to slow down, be cared for, and care for themselves.
The education, tips, and little tricks estheticians share with their clients come from thousands of hours of hands-on experience. That knowledge, paired with a genuine love of nurturing and caring for others, can change the way someone thinks about caring for themselves—not only their skin, but their overall well-being.
Sometimes a facial is about so much more than skin. ❤️
