So much gratitude to be able to teach a class especially for healthcare workers. I have had a considerable amount of personal experience within a hospital environment. I have experienced the calming effect of having someone in the room who is steady, gentle and receptive. Teaching yoga is more than a job to me; I truly believe in the power of yoga and mindfulness to reduce stress, support the immune system and increase the sense of well-being. I believe it’s a privilege to be able to support others; I feel grateful to be able to be beside healthcare clinicians and patients alike on their journeys.
Big love to everyone doing what they can to find spaces where they can practice, play, and connect.

"The World is Meant to be Celebrated... "Once upon a time, when women were birds, there was the simple understanding that to sing at dawn and to sing at dusk was to heal the world through joy. The birds still remember what we have forgotten, that the world is meant to be celebrated." ~Terry Tempest Williams

SPRING INTO WELLNESS - Yin Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine
April 5th 7 - 8:30pm
Location: Zoom
In this seasonal session we will be focusing on enhancing and balancing the channels that support your detoxification system. Throughout the class, we will touch on themes central to the liver and the gallbladder, as viewed through an Eastern Medicine lens, pulling inspiration from this experience to connect us to our own nature.
Join me to explore and experience the benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Yin Yoga. This practice will include an 60 minute yin yoga practice, which promotes strength and the mobility of Qi (energy) flow and also builds fluidity and elasticity throughout your connective tissues.
You can expect a soothing yin yoga practice that honors our undeniable connection to the natural world and fosters self-compassion. In addition to the yoga practice, there will be a conversation on the tenants of harmonizing with the season.
