Currently, there are 4 women over 70 competitively racewalking in the US. I am lucky enough to work with the one that just beat out many younger men and womens’ times (though she was upset that a woman 16 years her junior made it a second faster haha!).

Today her husband brought me her medal because she just couldn’t wait ‘til after the holiday for me to see it. I am so grateful! So happy for her! So proud to get to do what I do. Just wow.

Saw this posted about chronic pain, and I had to share it. It’s such a complex thing—the ‘not knowing’. Will it ever end? Will it only get worse and worse? Until you’ve experienced it, it’s hard to understand the mental and emotional toll chronic pain takes in addition to the physical. If you are suffering, I understand you.
