Everyone talks about charging their phone, but THIS is the Charging Station of the Goddess of Glow! It’s not just one thing.
A charging station isn’t just a desk full of random things. It’s the collection of things that recharge you and make you who you are.
🌴 Family — the framed photo reminding me why I work so hard.
✨ The Glow Business — the spray equipment, laptop, and appointments that turned a dream into a business.
☕ A Little Daily Joy — my cheetah tumbler (decaf, of course 😉).
📱 Connection — my iPhone where clients, family, photos, memories, and bookings all live.
💰 Freedom — the cash and passport symbolizing opportunities, travel, and building a life on my own terms.
🐆 Confidence — the cheetah print that has become part of my signature style.
🖤 Self-Care & Wellness — represented by the dumbbells (which I really need to start using more)
🕯️ Peace — the candle and warm lighting reminding me to slow down and enjoy what we’ve built.

This weekend I was truly shown that supporting a small business isn’t always about buying a service.
Sometimes it’s sharing a post.
Sometimes it’s telling a friend about a business you love.
Sometimes it’s liking, commenting, recommending, encouraging, or simply showing up.
This sweet friend was once a client, but after the sale of our Tropical Obsession salon she chose to go tan somewhere else in town. Yet she continues to support our new business Tropical Glow in ways that never go unnoticed. She shares my posts, cheers me on, shops my products, and has been one of my biggest encouragers from the sidelines. She even let me use her as a model for my most recent certification.
As small business owners, we often talk about supporting local, but I think it’s important to recognize that support comes in many forms—and every single one matters. As you have heard me say many times before… you don’t have to tan here to shop here. 🔆🛍️
So today, I’m simply thankful.
Thankful for the clients who become friends.
Thankful for the people who root for me even when they don’t need my services.
And thankful for every person who helps keep a small business dream alive with something as simple as a share, a recommendation, or a kind word.
It all matters more than you know. 🫶🏾

Seven years ago this month, I had the honor of spraying a beautiful bride for her wedding day. She was one of my very first clients, and I’ve been lucky enough to watch her and her husbands business, The Market 27, grow right alongside mine over the years.
So tonight, I’m giving a little love to a local business owner, longtime client, and friend. 💕
And honestly? After a fresh spray tan, a pizza from Market 27, your favorite show, a cozy blanket, and a crisp Coke Zero sounds like the perfect Friday night to me (imo)
