Through a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF), SFSC’s Emerge Scholars Program will give students access to scholarships toward an Associate in Science (AS) in Engineering Technology. Students who have been admitted to and/or enrolled in SFSC’s AS in Engineering Technology may be eligible for a $4,625-per semester scholarship. SFSC STUDENTS: The SFSC Library has another 100 laptops to loan out by term. Get ready for your studies by borrowing one from us!

To borrow one for your classes, you must be currently enrolled at South Florida State College (SFSC) in a for-credit course (Adult Education students and Corporate and Community Education students are not eligible). Also, two photo IDs are required at the time of laptop checkout.

Go to https://libguides.southflorida.edu/laptops for information about applying, renewing, and/or returning a laptop. The application process will take 24-48 business hours and appointments are required.
