Soham (pronounced "so-hum") is a Hindu mantra that means "I am that" or "I am divine". It's made up of two Sanskrit words, "so" which means "that" and "hum" which means "I".

In Vedic philosophy, Soham represents the idea of identifying oneself with the universe or ultimate reality. It's also interpreted to symbolize that all people are connected to a universal energy that supports and nourishes them.

Soham is often used in meditation as a focal point and resting place. Some say that it can lead to clarity, peace, and self-realization.

Here are some ways to practice the Soham mantra.🙏🏻

♡Diaphragmatic breathing.
Focus on the Soham mantra while breathing in and out below the breastbone.

♡Spine. Move the Soham mantra up and down the spine, exhaling from the top of the head to the base of the spine, and inhaling upwards.

♡Nostrils. Rest at the bridge of the nostrils and feel the air touching them.

♡Energy centers. Focus on each energy center in the body, inhaling and exhaling once at each point.

1️⃣ Collarbones – rub, tap, circle. Opens your main drainage points.
2️⃣ Under & behind ears – then slide down the neck. Clears lymph from the head, face, and scalp.
3️⃣ Bonus: Throat vibration – gentle tapping or humming here supports vagus nerve tone + deeper drainage. I love this added step for nervous system regulation.
4️⃣ Armpits – gently pull skin into the pit, then rub, tap, circle. This area holds 30–50 lymph nodes!
5️⃣ Belly – a few upward swipes from your belly button upwards, then do 5 small circles around the belly button each way. Sweep back to front over the sides of your belly. 
6️⃣ Groin – rub, tap, circle. Supports drainage from the pelvis and legs.
7️⃣ Backs of knees – so often stagnant. Rub, tap, circle here for a major energy shift.
8️⃣ Bonus: Ankles – rub, tap, circle around the inner/outer ankle bones. Helpful for lymph flow from the feet up.
9️⃣ Bonus: Bounce – 20–30 gentle foot bounces to move lymph + energise the whole body!
