The reason I get up in the morning... literally! This little one is the only thing or person that has the power to get me out of bed multiple times in the middle of the night. If it weren't for him I'd have my much needed 8 hours of rest... but I wouldn't trade it for the world. He's the best thing that's ever happened to me. I love him to death.

Hey everyone, just letting you know I’m taking a little break from making herbal products so my shop is on vacation mode. Thanks for following this page and for supporting my small business.

Happy Samhain/Halloween
from our family to yours! 🎃💜

Hey guys, sorry for being quiet these last few days. As me previous posts stated, I’ve been under the weather this week. Nothing major though, just a head cold, but I’ve had to nurse my son’s cold too and my energy levels are low.
How does the full moon makes you feel? We are a family of empaths and we never fully rest on full moon nights. I only had 3 hours of sleep 😩
My little guy had a headache last night so I gave him a few drops of white Willow bark mixed with a spoonful of home made elderberry syrup. He felt much better soon after and went back to sleep.
Have a great day everyone! 🎃

Oh no! I finally got that cold that was going around, so I’m going to take it slow and drink lots of herbal tea!
Sadly that also means the shipping date for your orders has been pushed back! Hopefully I can ship them all between tomorrow and Wednesday! 🧡
Have a beautiful Monday everyone!

While preparing a new batch of Soothing Heart elixir this weekend I decided to add two ingredients that I think you will enjoy: cinnamon and vanilla!
This new version is even yummier than the original! I use real vanilla, not extracts or food flavoring liquids, and real cinnamon sticks.
This elixir is now “perfect”!
This gentle and warm syrup was designed to heal your heart from grief, depression, heartbreak and anxiety. Hawthorn flowers and berries are known for their abilities to support the heart and help blood flow.
Hawthorn berries are rich in antioxidants and Vitamin C. Their nutrients help rebuild and tone the heart tissue while strengthening and nourishing the heart muscle to improve its overall functions. Hawthorn protects the heart against the damages of stress. It helps with anxiety and blood pressure.
Rose is very soothing for the nerves. It’s a natural antidepressant and is a gentle sedative.
Damiana is also a potent antidepressant and helps with low libido.
Catnip has the opposite effect on humans than on cats! It helps us relax, unwind.
This product is available in small quantities. Link in bio.

New batch coming up on October 19! We’ve got Elderberry & Rosehip syrup, our « classic » recipe, AND a NEW variant: Elderberry & Mullein.
Mullein helps improve upper respiratory problems including bronchitis, dry coughs, sore throats, general hoarseness and tonsillitis.
If you remember in a previous post I mentioned my little one having a bad cough and so I made him a special syrup with mullein and elderberries. I added lemon peel, elder flowers and ginger. It worked a charm so I decided to make it available to you guys!

To follow up on my other post on stress, everybody experiences stress on a daily basis. It’s how we handle it, or prevent it that makes all the difference.
Our bodies release hormones that cause the fight-or-flight response. Theses hormones have an impact on our body. We see an increase in blood pressure and heart rate. It’s important to note that too much stress can have damaging effects on the heart over a long period of time.
Another impact on the body, is an increase in glycogen, thus increasing the amount of sugar in the blood, which can lead to diabetes in the long run.
Nervine herbs can help the nervous system by simply “calming the nerves.” Some good nervine herbs are:
Lemon Balm, Lavender, Catnip, Skullcap, Linden, Chamomile, Barley and Passionflower. Make yourself a tea with these herbs when you’re feeling the negative effects of stress.
How does stress affect you and what’s your tip to relieve tension?
