As I prepare to return to work, I want to share my mother’s story here, not only to honor her memory but also to avoid reliving those painful moments each day. Talking about what happened is difficult, and I appreciate your understanding in giving me space to focus on healing.

The week leading up to her passing was a whirlwind. Scarlett and I were at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, addressing her health concerns, while my mom—always the light in any room—was at the salon, laughing and sharing stories with clients. That Friday, she joined us at work, full of life and joy. It was a normal day, filled with her warmth, love, and laughter.

Then, everything changed in an instant. She suddenly collapsed, feeling dizzy, and we quickly realized something was wrong. Paramedics arrived, and after rushing her to the hospital, we learned she had suffered a rare and catastrophic aortic dissection. Despite the doctors’ best efforts, the damage was too severe. That night, surrounded by family, we said our final goodbyes.

This loss has been overwhelming and surreal, but I’m grateful for the life my mom lived and the love she gave so freely. She was more than a mother—she was our guide, our cheerleader, and the glue that held us together.

To our clients, please know that while I am returning to work, I’m carrying a heavy heart. Sharing this story here allows me to honor her memory without having to revisit those heartbreaking details again and again. Your kindness, patience, and understanding mean the world to me during this time.

It is with a heavy heart that I share some personal news, my beloved mom has recently passed away, and during this difficult time, I need to focus on my family and the healing process.

As a result, Beauty by Cady will be closed for the remainder of the month. We deeply appreciate your understanding, patience, and support during this challenging time.

For those with upcoming appointments with either me or Kylie, we will be reaching out individually to reschedule or assist in any way we can. If you have appointments scheduled with Sophie or Shyann, they will be unaffected.
