Hi! I’m Alexandra—Alex for short. I am the proud owner of Knot Just Hair Studio ✂️🧩 in Selden.

I’m a full-service stylist working with women, men, and children of all ages, ALL are welcome. Whether you’re looking for a good haircut, single process color, gray coverage, custom color to fit your style, highlights, smoothing treatments, blowouts, or even just a fresh new look, and of course a little R&R, there’s something for everyone.

As a special needs mom, I understand that everyone experiences the salon differently. I’ve learned that kindness, patience, and understanding can make all the difference. That’s why here at Knot Just Studio, I’ve created a welcoming space for all clients of all ages. Whether you or your loved one has any kind of special needs, ASD(all levels), sensory needs, ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, ETC, or simply appreciate a calmer-paced, more personalized relaxed experience. My goal is to meet you where YOU are!
I proudly offer services geared towards the special needs community and any clients that just need some extra TLC & support. The goal is to make every person who walks through my door feel comfortable enough to be exactly who they are!

Cool things going on for the month of December with raffling off professional quality stuff, 3 prizes Grand prize retails over $350-$400. There will also be a great 2nd & 3rd prize winners as well. Tickets can be purchased in the studio or through text message

1 for $5 * 5 for $20 * 10 for $35. Also real feather extensions and real tape in colored hair extensions! I also just launched a brand new loyalty program!!I’m located in Selden in the Home Depot Shopping Center on Middle Country Rd.

Cindi was determined and had one goal and that was to beat this and be healthy! What a strong mama. She wanted to celebrate her amazing news with some RNR and some little pops of pink through out her hair, which she absolutely loved! (First time she’s never colored her hair 🫢) Her daughter, sweet Abigail opted for 2 of the Pink tape-in hair extensions, in support of her Mom and all the other BO***ES that are affected, including men!

With the month of October nearing the end, Id love to be able to donate as much as we can.
The tape-in extensions are comfortable and last about 6 weeks or so.
They are $15 a strand, and Knot Just Hair Studio will be donating a portion of the profit to a foundation of my choice (TBA)
