We want to begin by saying thank you. Your continued love, trust, and support mean everything to us. Because of you, Naturally Gifted has grown into more than a salon—it’s a family, a safe space, and a crown-care community.

We’re writing to share an important update regarding our services.

Beginning January 2026, there will be a $30 increase on all traditional loc services performed by me. This decision was not made lightly. The purpose of this adjustment is to help us intentionally save and invest toward a long-term dream: purchasing our own Naturally Gifted building by the year 2029. Owning our space will allow us to expand, elevate your experience, and continue serving our community for years to come.

As part of this next season, I am also being intentional about balancing my personal life while stepping fully into my role as CEO of Naturally Gifted. This growth allows me to focus on the bigger picture—leadership, longevity, and building a legacy—while still ensuring the quality and care you expect from our salon.

We also want to be very clear and transparent:

- Tiesha’s and Marquita's will remain the same.
- If my updated pricing no longer fits your budget, we completely understand.
- We kindly ask that you remain part of the Naturally Gifted family by allowing Tiesha or Marquita to continue providing your services right here in our salon.

Please know this: I will personally help with your transition to ensure you receive the same level of care, consistency, and attention you are used to. Your hair health, comfort, and confidence will always remain a priority.

This is not goodbye—it’s simply flexibility with love. Our goal is to keep you cared for, confident, and connected to Naturally Gifted in whatever way works best for you.

Kwanzaa Day 4 celebrates Ujamaa, meaning Cooperative Economics, focusing on building and maintaining businesses, controlling economic power, and sharing in wealth and work within the community, often by supporting Black-owned businesses, banking Black, and pooling resources for collective benefit, embodying the idea that community is wealth and strengthening economic self-sufficiency.

Let's use today to shout out all of the black owned businesses whether you work in the beauty industry, clothing, food, music, technology etc post them in the comments so we know who they are

Kwanzaa Day 3 focuses on Ujima, the principle of Collective Work and Responsibility, emphasizing building and maintaining the community together, solving problems jointly, and contributing skills/effort for shared success, often celebrated by lighting the green candle and engaging in community projects or helping neighbors. It's a commitment to shared progress, recognizing that individual upliftment depends on collective strength and mutual support, a direct response to historical efforts to dismantle Black communities, say Urban Institute of Mental Health and The Community Revolution.
