Today marks 5 years of El Chop You Barbershop and 3 years at our current location.

It’s hard to put into words what this milestone truly means to me. From the start, this shop was more than just a place for haircuts it was a vision built on hard work, community, and passion. Every day, we’ve grown not only as a business but as a family.

To all our loyal clients, friends, and supporters: thank you. Your trust and love over the years have helped us build something real and lasting.

And to my partner, thank you for standing by me, pushing through every challenge, and showing up with the same heart and hustle since day one. This shop wouldn’t be what it is without you.

Calling on all my fellow veterans let’s show some support for one of our own. Nick (SSgt Walden), a 12-year Army veteran, has just joined the team at El Chop You Barbershop. It’s his first week, and to mark the occasion, he’s offering $20 haircuts all day today.

Nick recently joined us following our participation in the Veteran Stand Down for Homeless Veterans event this past weekend, where his passion for giving back was immediately evident. With a background in multiple trades and over 15 years of experience behind the chair, Nick has decided to return to his roots in barbering bringing skill, heart, and service to the only veteran owned and operated barbershop right here in our city.

Whether you’re in for a cut or just stopping by, come through and give Nick a warm welcome. If you’re in search of a new barber, look no further, he’s your guy.

Today, El Chop You Barbershop, along with a few dedicated barbers, proudly participated in the Veteran Stand Down For Homeless event, providing free haircuts and grooming services to over 100 homeless and disabled veterans. It was an honor to be a Veteran and give back to those who have served our country and support them with dignity and care.

Hello, El Chop you Barbershop family,

We have some news to share that is both exciting and bittersweet. One of our own, Rico, will be leaving us to serve our country in the military. Tomorrow will be his last day at the shop.

We are incredibly proud of Rico and want to send him off in the best way possible. We invite you to stop by to wish him farewell, show your support, or receive one last service from him before he embarks on this noble journey.

Rico, we love you, and we couldn’t be prouder of the great things you’re about to accomplish. Thank you for being a part of our family.
