SEYMOUR POLICE DEPARTMENT – TRAFFIC ADVISORY
Annual Christmas Parade – Sunday, November 30, 2025

Seymour will be holding its annual Christmas Parade on Sunday, November 30, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM. To ensure safety and allow the parade to proceed smoothly, several road closures and parking restrictions will be in effect.

ROAD CLOSURES
Beginning at 12:30 PM
• River Street (Rte 313) – closed in both directions
• Bank Street at Main Street
Beginning at 1:30 PM
• Main Street, between DeForest Street and Route 67
Beginning at 1:45 PM (15 minutes before parade start)
• Route 67
• Spruce Street (designated section)
• Parade route, including:
o Pine Street
o Broad Street (Route 313)
o Main Street (Route 115)
o Route 8 Southbound Exit 18
o Route 67 between Main Street and Spruce Street

During the Parade
All roadways along the parade route will remain closed and will reopen only after Santa’s sled clears each road. Timing depends on participation and may take at least one hour or longer.

NO PARKING RESTRICTIONS
“No Parking” signs will be posted along the parade route. No parking will be allowed on:
• River Street
• Main Street
• Route 67
• Spruce Street

Restrictions are in effect from 10:00 AM until the parade ends. Any vehicle parked on these roadways during this time will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense by the Seymour Police Department.

Residents and visitors of Main Street: please remove all vehicles from the roadway before 10:00 AM, or they will be subject to towing.

PUBLIC PARKING - Available at town lots
• Main Street (Handicapped Parking Spaces Available)

Do NOT park on private property, such as the Seymour Plaza (Auto Zone) lot, unless you have permission from the property owner. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.

🦞🥩SEAFOOD AND STEAK DRIVE-THRU IS BACK!🥩🦞

We've heard y'all loud and clear, and after a few years' absence, Beacon Hose's Seafood and Steak Drive-Thru Dinner is coming back Saturday, Aug. 23!

Dinners are available by PRE-ORDER ONLY and must be picked up in a 30-minute window that you choose between 4:30-7 p.m. The menu includes lobsters, clams, Lobster Bombs, steaks, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, burgers, hot dogs, bologna sandwiches, and jumbo Rice Krispie treats for dessert!
