Some client experiences hold a special place in my heart. Knowing Christy didn’t normally wear makeup, but wanted to make an exception for her daughter’s wedding - I knew the look needed to be authentically and intentionally “her”. So we created a soft glam that would allow her to focus on what was most important to her… her little girl’s big day. I’m so honored that I got to play just a small part in this beautiful day. 🫶🏻

🍓🌿 She’s officially here… The Farm Stand Facial has arrived at The Shed Spa! 🌿🍑

If you grew up in East Tennessee, summer probably looked a little different than it does today.

Maybe it was stopping by the local farm stand on the way home. Maybe it was buying a bushel of sweet corn and spending the afternoon on your mamaw’s porch shucking every ear together. Or sitting under the shade trees with a bucket of fresh-picked green beans, snapping them one by one before they were “put up” for winter.

Back then, we didn’t know we were making memories. We thought we were just helping Mamaw. Those slow afternoons, sticky fingers, front porch conversations, and glasses of sweet tea have a way of staying with us.

That’s the feeling we wanted to capture with The Farm Stand Facial. Inspired by some of nature’s most nutrient-rich, antioxidant-packed ingredients, this seasonal facial brings together strawberry, white peach, cucumber, and honey to gently exfoliate, calm visible redness, deeply hydrate, and leave your skin glowing with all the freshness of an East Tennessee summer.

But around here, skincare is only part of the experience. While you’re tucked away in our cool little she shed, we’ll have a glass of sun-brewed sweet tea with a hint of orange essence waiting for you.

And because no visit to The Shed Spa is complete without a homemade treat, today’s seasonal snack is one we’re especially excited about. Our Blackberry Oat Crumble Bars, inspired by Blackberry Farm and baked with locally grown farm stand blackberries, along with a handful of wild blackberries picked right here on our own property.

Step inside where the air is cool, the treatment bed is turned down, and for just a little while, life slows down again.

Here’s to front porch conversations.

Mamaw’s kitchen.
And remembering that sometimes the sweetest things in life are also the simplest.

🌿✨ Monday Harvest ✨🌿

This week reminded me that growth doesn’t always look dramatic.

Sometimes growth looks like:
🌱 13 appointments served with care
🌱 4 brand new faces trusting me with their skin
🌱 Memberships continuing to bloom
🌱 Creating custom home care plans that help clients feel confident between visits
🌱 Harvesting the very first calendula blooms from The Shed Spa garden

And sometimes the sweetest harvest isn’t measured in numbers at all.

This week I watched a client shine on stage in Guys & Dolls 🥰 and received a message from another client that brought tears to my eyes because of the impact our time together has made on her confidence.

Those moments remind me why The Shed Spa exists.
