🚨🚨🚨 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE CURL NOOK 🚨🚨🚨

Since having my daughter, things have been tight for us here at My Salon Suite Watertown - I have been so grateful for the ongoing support from my clients and the outpouring of love you've given both me and little Miss Tessa.

Given that we have had to relocate our personal life, the commute to and from has simply become too much for both me and her. Especially with gas prices as they are.

Over the next few weeks, we will be wrapping up in Watertown and will be relocating to a new location in MA. The idea is to cut the difference and still be accessible for my clients.

Keep an eye on your emails for full details of where we will be and what's to come!!!

April appointments will be honored in Watertown and all scheduled appointments will be getting a phone call to either move the appointment into these last two weeks or we will schedule you for the new space if it works for you. Booking for any time after May 1st has been closed for the time being.

Please understand that I will do whatever I need to in order to accommodate for everyone during this transition. The loyalty amongst all of you is unmatched and I'm excited for you all to see what is next!!! Please reach out if you have any questions whatsoever

While I am still only a few weeks back from maternity leave, I am still working on a limited schedule. Please bare with me through this transition if you do choose to book with me. I am so excited to see new faces in this space and work with you towards the hair of your dreams!!! See you there 🥳

What a wild ride these last nine months have been!! I want to thank all of my beautiful clients for barring with me while I navigate maternity leave and start getting ready to come back to work with my brand new assistant.

Tessa came into the world after 43 hours of labor via c section in the scariest experience of my life. Knowing I almost did not make it off that table has had me truly reflecting and leaning into my recovery so that I am the best me I can be for her and the people I serve. I am viewing my blessings a little differently these days and after almost a week into parenthood, I can honestly tell you, I've never felt anything like this.

I have a few more weeks of recovery, reflection and reestablishing to do before we are back in the salon but please know I am thinking of all of you and I cannot wait to introduce this gorgeous baby girl to the people in my world who have made this life possible for us. See you all soon !!! 🥹💕

As you've seen, I've been making small adjustments to my schedule in preparation for some bigger news that is coming. I think it's finally time I post and update on all the changes happening .... & spill the tea!

Starting on March 1st, I will be putting a pause on accepting new clients. You'll see that all new client service options will be removed from the menu and only returning clients will be able to book. I estimate that this pause will stay in place until the holidays season of 2025. All announcements about reopening to new clients will be posted here.

As of May 24th, 2025, if everything goes somewhat to plan, I will be on maternity leave to welcome my first baby!! I am extremely excited about a new chapter beginning and am incredibly grateful for all of you who have expressed your excitement for me!!! Currently, April and May have been blocked off and are unbookable - This will be adjusted on March 1st when new services have been paused.

The tentative plan is to return from leave at the end of August. However, this will be based upon how delivery and recovery goes. I appreciate you being flexible and understanding with me during this period of time I'll be taking to heal, introduce this little one to the world and get into a routine for the two of us. With such a new life development, it will lead to a new schedule upon returning which I will be sure to announce here.

Appointments booked in May, especially after the first full week are, and will be considered tentative bookings, as I will be in the last ten weeks of pregnancy. When I break in May, that will be 37 and a half weeks!! Starting in March, I will no longer be accepting new clients until probably the 2025 holiday season. You will see that new client services have been removed from booking and mini me cuts have been changed to "returning clients only". I will be making a few larger announcements regarding this in the near future but for now, having more control over my schedule is necessary!

If you know me, you must know there are very few things I love in this world more than a daddy/daughter power duo!!!! These two are one of my favorites that I am blessed to call family ❤️

She wanted to keep as much healthy length as we could, build a tiny bit of shape to provide a solid perimeter and work on growing out some holes caused from straight cuts on curly hair. And I mean......... COME ON RIGHT!?!!!

This gorgeous little lady took the day off from school with her mom to drive almost an hour to come see me !!!! 🤯🙏🏼🥰 It was such a pleasure to work with them to build a reasonable routine that is manageable at home and will help her take better care of her hair as she grows up! Lazy curly doesn't have to mean frizzy or "undone". Lazy curly can mean beautiful, salon styled curls produced in your own home 😍
