TRAFFIC ALERT: Drivers should expect delays on Johnson Drive between Flint and Goddard Streets starting on Monday, June 20. Crews will be working to mill and overlay that stretch of Johnson Drive and will then restripe it back to its original layout of four to five lanes instead of the current three lanes.

This three lane pilot project launched last November. After considering feedback from residents and research from staff, the City Council voted to return Johnson Drive to the original four and five lane layout.

We expect the work to last through Friday, July 1, pending no weather delays. Drivers will be able to get through the entire time, but there will be lane closures. You can find updates on this and other traffic alerts at cityofshawnee.org/traffic.
