Due to construction, these detours might lengthen our TRAVEL TIME but also provide a fresh perspective on our usual routes. Midland Drive Update 🚧

The Kansas Department of Transportation is preparing for the final phase of its I-435 and Midland Drive project.

The tentative plan is to restrict access to Midland underneath the I-435 bridge on Friday, March 28, barring weather delays. As crews re-deck the southbound I-435 bridge, these routes will still be accessible:

🔸 Northbound 435 from the east side of Midland
🔸 Southbound 435 from the west side of Midland

The plan is to complete work later this year.
