It’s been a crazy summer, busy with work and family. Didn’t do hardly any beading. But this weekend with nothing planned, I spent the weekend beading❤️ made 5 pair. Used some of the new beads I bought at the powwow🫶

Pōsōh (hello), I am starting this page to post my handmade beadwork. I recently left the teaching world and now work in student services at UWGB. I love the extra free time I have. I have been able to take a Menominee language class online and a moccasin workshop at UWGB. This led me to my obsession with learning to bead❤️
I chose the name Pōsōh Kesoq because I loved the duality of the two Menominee words. Pōsōh is used as a greeting or farewell (hello/goodbye) and Kesoq can mean sun/moon/any heavenly body. So it could be Hello Sun Or Goodbye Moon or vice versa. I hope you enjoy my beadwork and hopefully it will get better and more diverse as I continue to practice and learn this craft!
