Every once in a while, I have to stop and take a second to really appreciate how far Michigan Hair Extensions + Balayage has come. 🤍

What started as a 6 chair, single location 7 years ago with my best friend from high school WEST BLOOMFIELD HAIR EXTENSIONS has now grown into us launching our 5th location opening next month 🥂 — but the number of locations isn’t what makes me the proudest.

It’s the people. 💕

I’m incredibly thankful for every stylist who has trusted SALON + CO. to be a part of their business. Watching our stylists open up their own locations, hire their own apprentices, helping prove to new graduates, and seasoned stylists renting is an extremely easy lifestyle to build.

We’re a rental-based salon, but I’ve always believed that renting a chair shouldn’t mean building your career alone. Education, growth, mentorship, community and opportunity have always been a huge part of what I want Salon + Co. to represent.

This year alone, we’ve had stylists further their education through opportunities in business, traveling the world for education, a handful of different certification opportunities, and I couldn’t be more proud to invest in stylists who are serious about becoming the best version of themselves behind the chair.

I may be one of the faces you see representing Salon + Co., but this business is built by our stylists. Their talent, ambition, and willingness to grow are what make this all possible. 🥂

And as we continue growing, I’m always excited to meet the next generation of stylists who want more for themselves and their careers. 🤍

Here’s to 5 locations, a new chapter in Plymouth, and so many more stylists growing with us. ✨

We are accepting applications at all 5 of our metro Detroit locations. Apply now using the link in my bio 🥂
