I just wanted to remind you all that I will be on vacation tomorrow (Friday) Aug 28 at noon and I will be back in the shop after the Labor Day weekend on Tuesday, Sept 8th.
I will be scheduling appointments while I’m gone for the week of September 8-12. Please call and leave a message with the date and approx time you would like and I will call you back to schedule it!

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to let you all know that I will be gone on Friday, August 7th & 8th from the shop to attend a wedding in Kentucky. I will be in the shop taking appointments Monday through Thursday Aug. 3rd through Aug. 6th.
At the end of Aug & the first of Sept. I will be taking a vacation with family for a week. I will be gone at noon on Friday, Aug. 28th through Tuesday, Sept. 8th due to the Labor Day holiday. It will be a much needed getaway for me. I want to give a heads up before the end of the month to let everyone know so you can plan accordingly for making appointments. I am extremely grateful for you all and appreciate your support throughout the last almost 17 years that I’ve been in business. Blessings to you.

I just wanted to remind everyone that I will be out of the shop Monday, July 20th. I will be participating in a fundraising event for the day. I will be back on Tuesday and will be open the remainder of the week. Thank you for your understanding. It is a worthy cause. Blessings to you all!

Hello everyone!
I want to let you know about some upcoming dates I will be gone from the shop in the coming days and weeks. I will gone on Saturday, July 4th for the holiday. I will be in Monday, June 29th through Friday, July 3rd. The week following I will be in the shop July 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th but I will be gone on Friday July10 for a colonoscopy and gone Sat July 11th as well. Also, Monday, July 20th I will be out of the shop during the day. I know that’s quite a bit of information but I just wanted everyone to know ahead of time to give some time for people to plan for when you need haircuts. Thanks so much for your understanding. I will give more updates for August plans I have to be gone. Blessings to you all!

I just wanted to let you all know that I will be out of the shop on Saturday morning, June 27th to spend time with my family while my son is home from Peoria. Hello All,
It has been a while since I have posted any updates on what’s going on. Things have been going well. It has been very busy at the shop and I feel blessed to have so many great people supporting me in my business and in my personal life. Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers during this year’s craziness I have had since January 2026. Give me a call for an appointment if you are in need of a haircut. Also, thanks for your patience with scheduling your haircut appointments. When I was gone from the shop in January and April, I had so many calls for appointments it was overwhelming to return each call that I may have missed some. I apologize for that. I usually have available times a day or two after the current day so call me if you need one. Blessings to you all and have a great rest of your week!

Hello everyone,
I want to update you all on my progress. I meant to post this over the weekend but it didn’t happen. I am doing better now. It helped that I went in right away to get on top of it before it got any worse. I am back at the shop pretty well to full strength however I am still doctoring a spot on my ankle to heal the skin. I’m using an UnaBoot- a compression dressing from my toes to just below the knee to help me heal that area. Thank you for your prayers and concerns. It is very much appreciated. I am now playing catch-up with appointments so I am extremely busy with that right now. Please be patient with me. I value everyone’s business. Give me a call to set up a time for a haircut. Hello everyone,
I have bit of news for you. The cellulitis I had in January came back. Early Tuesday morning I felt cold so I got blanket (and never get a blanket) then a few hours later I felt really hot and when got up to shower my left leg was red as a beet. I knew it was cellulitis again. I went to the ER in Sheldon early and they got the fever calmed down, then started me on IV antibiotics and fluids.
I am sorry to the customers who came yesterday for their appointment and I wasn’t there. I didn’t have time to call everyone to let them know. Please call me back to reschedule. I’m going to see what I feel like at the end of the week and determine if I can give some haircuts. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Hello everyone,
I will be out of the shop on Friday afternoon (March 20th)for a doctors appointment in Sioux Falls starting at noon. Also, I not be in on Saturday, (March 21) to attend a family funeral. Sorry for the inconvenience but I appreciate your understanding. I’ll be back on Monday morning for regular business hours the whole week. Blessings to you!
