Hello everyone,
I have bit of news for you. The cellulitis I had in January came back. Early Tuesday morning I felt cold so I got blanket (and never get a blanket) then a few hours later I felt really hot and when got up to shower my left leg was red as a beet. I knew it was cellulitis again. I went to the ER in Sheldon early and they got the fever calmed down, then started me on IV antibiotics and fluids.
I am sorry to the customers who came yesterday for their appointment and I wasn’t there. I didn’t have time to call everyone to let them know. Please call me back to reschedule. I’m going to see what I feel like at the end of the week and determine if I can give some haircuts. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Hello everyone,
I will be out of the shop on Friday afternoon (March 20th)for a doctors appointment in Sioux Falls starting at noon. Also, I not be in on Saturday, (March 21) to attend a family funeral. Sorry for the inconvenience but I appreciate your understanding. I’ll be back on Monday morning for regular business hours the whole week. Blessings to you!

Hello all!
It’s been a little while since I last posted anything. I am just letting everyone know that I’m available for haircut appointments without any restrictions physically for me. If you need a beard trim or just a regular trim, give me a call! My schedule has been light lately so I have time to get you in. I love what I do and I love serving my clients and my community.

Hello all! Just a quick update on my progress with my ankle. I believe I have turned a small corner with my skin healing from my 2nd bout with cellulitis. I have had very little if any at all weeping skin on my ankle the last couple of days and that makes me excited as I can really start to get back to normal. I have been so grateful and thankful for all of your prayers of support for healing.
I am back to doing a full schedule of haircut appointments at the shop now. Give me a call or text if you need a haircut in the future. I am so lucky to have such a great support group of individuals and truly proud to serve this community!! Blessings to you all!

Hello everyone! Just letting you know that I will be out of the shop Wednesday morning Feb 11th for a doctors appointment in Sioux Falls (Unrelated to my Cellulitis issues). I will be back in the afternoon for appointments.
Now, Regarding my ongoing cellulitis problems, I have had a lot of fluid weeping for several weeks close to my Heal and Achilles tendon. I have been covering it with gauze under my compression socks to keep it dry. I have had some light nerve twinges in that area but I am hoping it will lessen as it heals. It has been taking longer to heal than I expected it would take but I’m optimistic.
I am working pretty regularly at the shop giving haircuts and almost back to full capacity with clients.

Celebrating 16 years of business today in Sheldon! It has been a wild ride ! Some ups and downs with my health, but I have enjoyed every day serving my community and surrounding towns. Just wanted to update you on my progress with my cellulitis this time around.
I had a follow up Dr’s appointment Wednesday afternoon and he said it is looking better but I need to continue to try to stay off my feet as much as possible (he knows I need to work) and continue to use the knee scooter as much as I can to give relief from swelling. It is feeling better every day so I am optimistic that I will get this under control soon.
I am cutting hair again, just not a full schedule. I am spacing out my appointments to give me time to put my foot up between cuts. Let me know if you need to get in and I can set up an appointment for you.

Hello again. Just wanted to update everyone as to my status with cellulitis. I had another follow up appointment today. My provider is going to continue with IV antibiotics for 7 more days along with 7days of oral antibiotics to get my ankle healed. Kind of a one-two punch. It has been a roller coaster ride of emotions wanting to get back to the shop and take care of my customers but if I go back too soon, I’m jeopardizing my health. I am so grateful for all of my great understanding customers telling me get healthy before coming back. Also, thank you so much for all your thoughts and prayers for my health and recovery. I have said this once and I’ll say it again! I love serving this community and people in it. May God bless you!

Hello everyone. I’m letting all of you know that I have cellulitis again. I bumped my ankle on New Year’s Day and left little scrape and it got infected It’s been a rough couple of days since Saturday but I’m on IV antibiotics for seven day. I’ve felt a little better today (Tuesday) but I trying to let the antibiotics work before I go back to the shop to give haircuts. I appreciate your prayers and support with all that gone on.
