I’m a 2025 Lashie Award Finalist for Editorial Collection of the Year with my piece Rococo Requiem. This work was more than just lashes — it was a love letter to art, history, and storytelling through our craft. Creating it pushed me as an artist and reminded me how deeply I connect to this industry beyond the day-to-day. To see it recognized on this stage means everything. 🖤

I’m also humbled to be a finalist for Best Customer Service. My clients are the heart of my work — every detail of their experience is intentional, and knowing that the way I care for people stands out is the greatest honor of all.

Winners will be crowned live at LashCon this October. No matter what, I’m so grateful for this recognition and for the lash community that inspires me to keep growing.

Chicago changed me.
There’s something about that city, that energy, and that night that woke something up in me.

Artistry in the City was one of the most meaningful experiences of my career so far. To have my work displayed in a gallery - not just as beauty, but as art - was surreal. I created Rococo Requiem in one of the hardest moments of my life. Every lash tells a part of the story…some placed for what I’ve lost, others for what I’m still finding.

To have this piece not only seen, but collected… it means everything.
Thank you to everyone who stood in front of it and felt something.

And to the person who now holds it .arispa thank you for giving this story a new home.
This was more than a lash set. It was a requiem. A release. A reflection.

This was one of the pieces I created for Artistry in the City: A groundbreaking gallery-style exhibit that’s putting lash artistry in a museum setting for the very first time. Real walls. Real art. Real recognition.

It’s an honor to be one of 15 artists selected to showcase our work at the Chicago Architecture Center this July - and to be part of something that’s about to shift the lash industry forever. This isn’t just a cute moment… this is a statement. A redefinition. A line in the sand that says: we are artists, and our work belongs here.

While this image won’t be the one hanging on the wall, she still holds weight.
There’s power in her softness. Emotion in her stillness. She feels like quiet rebellion…and that’s always been part of my story.

Lash Boss Summit 2025

This was my second year attending and not only was it amazing, it exceeded my expectations yet again!!

Shelby does such an amazing job cultivating an atmosphere that is welcoming and safe for everyone who attends. The level of connection and intimate moments are what make this event so special!

I got to support my friends that competed in the lash competition, and I am SO incredibly proud of them all and inspired by them all. Putting yourself out there with the best of the best is no easy task and you all killed it!

I got to watch and support during her big moment on the summit stage. She is such a powerhouse and is shaking things up in the industry!! I couldn’t be more proud to call her my friend.

I met new people and foster old relationships, and I got to spread the word and talk to people about the and the feed back was nothing short of amazing✨
