✨ 7 days of a Vi Peel ✨

This is such a vulnerable post, but it's necessary because I want to show you that even as an esthetician, my skin is not perfect, and I will never show any judgment. I had never had acne in my life until about 8 months ago when I stopped taking birth control, and then BOOM here comes the hormonal acne. Hormonal acne is one of the most challenging skin conditions to deal with because it's caused by changes happening within your body that are out of your control. In cases like this, a peel can help, but it's not a one treatment fix. This is why we recommend a series of 3 to 6 peels, depending on what we are treating and how severe the issue is. Below is a side by side comparison of the 7 day peel progress. As you can see, it did help with texture, but there is still a long way to go. When I get my next peel I will do another post updating you on my journey. We are in this together friends 🫶🏼
