These healed taupe brows are PERFECT. 🤎

Originally, we went with more of a soft lash enhancement — a softer black placed right in the lash line. Pretty and subtle… but it just wasn’t cutting it for her.

So today we went back in with BLACK eyeliner. 🖤 It looks bold while fresh, but it will soften considerably as it heals and give her that more defined liner she was wanting.

And a little scheduling reminder: Forever Flawless is booking into the end of the year.

I still tattoo full-time — about 8 hours a day, 5–6 days a week — and split my schedule between:
• Sheridan: 3–4 days a week
• Gillette: 1–2 days a week
• Cheyenne + Billings: upcoming trips will be announced soon

✨ CORRECTION WORK PROGRESS not perfection yet but is coming + A LITTLE PMU EDUCATION ✨

This beauty has been a little bit of a project — but the transformation is SO worth it. 🖤

FIRST SESSION : We started with a brow shape + color correction, which required some removal, refreshed her eyeliner, and brought some color back into her lips.

2nd Session : today This session we did a little more spot removal on the brows, and in a few months we’ll do one final pass of color so she should be good for another 3–5 years with normal maintenance.

For the lips, we went with a stronger lip line and a brighter color to give her a little more definition, and we made another pass over the eyeliner to get everything sitting as evenly as possible in the same layer of skin.

Her original permanent cosmetics were done with an inorganic, often marketed as “semi-permanent,” pigment. Over time, her eyeliner faded orange and her once-pink lips were left with a pale/white residual color.

And this is exactly why pigment choice matters.

Personally, I prefer a blend/organic-based pigment system. Worst-case scenario, an unmaintained brow may eventually look a little ashy — but it’s generally much easier for me to refresh the color, modify it, or remove it when needed.

“Semi-permanent” doesn’t necessarily mean it disappears. Sometimes it simply fades into a strong different color… like orange or white and that color isn’t always easy to work with.

That is absolutely an artist preference — I know talented artists who feel completely differently. Some don’t mind letting clients walk around w/orange brows forever. 😂 I personally want my work to age in a way that gives us the most options later.

Permanent cosmetics are a long game. I’m not only thinking about how they look today — I’m thinking about what I’m going to be working with 5, 10, even 15 years from now. 🖤
