This week, our MKB team participated in human trafficking awareness training.
As massage therapists, we work in a profession that requires a high level of trust, vigilance, and responsibility. Understanding the signs of trafficking and knowing how to respond appropriately helps us better protect our clients, our team, and our community.
This training is also ✨important✨ because massage therapy has historically been a profession that can be targeted and misrepresented by those operating outside legitimate therapeutic practice. Protecting vulnerable individuals and protecting the integrity of our profession often go hand in hand.
In Wyoming, massage therapy remains unregulated at the state level, meaning there is currently no statewide licensing board or uniform licensing requirements for massage therapists(😱). That makes professional standards, continuing education, and industry awareness especially important for those of us committed to practicing ethically and responsibly.

We’re excited to welcome Jaycee to the MKB team as our newest Grounding Therapist 💚

Coming from a dance background, Jaycee developed an early appreciation for movement, body awareness, and helping people feel more comfortable in their bodies… something that naturally led her toward massage therapy.

She brings a calm, grounded presence to the treatment room and is especially passionate about creating sessions that feel thoughtful, supportive, and intentional for each client.

Outside of massage therapy, Jaycee enjoys Pilates, country music, spending time outdoors, and hunting and fishing with her family. A calming playlist, fresh air, and a bowl of ice cream are a few of her favorite ways to recharge🍦

We’re very happy to have her here and excited for everyone to meet her ✨
