This morning I had my morning coffee on my paddle board and I was thinking about what I wanted to post today about the Fourth of July. There is a part of me that is so sad about the state of our country right now and there is a part of me that feels very blessed that I live in the U.S. quoted the Declaration of Independence quite beautifully, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.” Let us not forget this and let us work towards this in a way that is truly equitable for all.

I am having a socially distanced going away dinner party for my dear dear friend Talie from . She is moving up north and while I am so happy for her, I am also deeply sad.
