Today makes 9 years of business ownership ❤️

I took a leap of faith after an abusive commission salon damn near destroyed my desire to even BE a hairstylist, much less succeed. I honestly had no business trying to open the doors to my own salon suite.

I only had 6 clients booked in January that year, no clients booked further out. It was terrifying. BUT I was a single mom with two babes at home that needed me to succeed.

I'm proud to say I took the leap and without really even knowing what I was doing, I hustled hard. By March, I was doing okay. By the end of the year, I had a decent steady clientele. And by 18 months in, I was booked 6 weeks out.

More than 30% of small businesses fail in the first year, and 50% of small businesses fail before year 5.

Here I am NINE YEARS LATER.
I am proud, thankful, and appreciative of all that helped me achieve this.
