✨ Fuller, plumper lips don’t just come from the syringe, they come from proper aftercare. 💋
Your results continue to develop over the next two weeks, and how you care for your lips during that time can make a difference.
Lip Filler Aftercare:
-Stay well hydrated.
-Take it easy for the first 24 hours.
-Avoid direct sun exposure, excessive heat, and strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
-Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications (unless prescribed by your healthcare provider) to help minimize bruising.
-Use ice and acetaminophen (Tylenol) as needed for swelling or discomfort.
🤍 My personal recommendation: avoid massaging any lumps or bumps until one week after treatment unless I specifically instruct you otherwise.
Remember, lip filler is a treatment performed by the human hand. During the normal two-week healing process, it’s common to experience swelling, temporary asymmetry, or small lumps as the filler settles.
If something doesn’t seem right, don’t panic. Reach out to your injector. A good injector should be happy to assess your concerns, reassure you, and make any necessary corrections once you’re appropriately healed.
Beautiful results are a partnership between your injector’s technique and your commitment to aftercare. ✨
