t’s always a huge compliment when another hairstylist comes to sit in my chair! 🥰
Although when she came in with dark long hair down her back and hadn’t been highlighted for a while and asked me to chop it all off and give her some dramatic chunky balayage…I was like “What??!”!! 😅😝
So no pressure for my first time doing her hair! 😂😜
But here are the results and we were thrilled! 🤩 🙌
I hand painted these chunky highlights after doing a rough cut first. I balayaged with Shwarzkopf Blonde me and 40 volume developer, no toner, just lifted and a touch of purple conditioner on her ends while conditioning.
Then finished up her long layered bob and gave her a quick blow out.
I did use some special Korean Headspa treatments and used Color Wow dream coat and Pureology serum for her blowout!
Her hair was so bright and still felt so great afterwards!! 🙌❤️

Best husband reaction ever!!! 🥰
He started “Wowing” at his wife, around the half way mark of my blow out. Going “Are you seeing this!! Your hairs never looked this good honey! It’s beautiful!” This lead to more Oohing and Awwing and compliments that made me even blush! 😍
He was looking at his wife with eyes of love and hearts were shooting out!
Then it happened!!!
A first in my career of 30 years……
He started tearing up and then cried!!! 🥹
It was like he was looking at his wife on their wedding day! 😍😍
I’ve seen men look at women like this in movies and television and my husband looked at me like this way, on our wedding day. 🥰
But never before in my career as a hairstylist, have I witnessed this kind of reaction to my work.
And I’ve done some pretty remarkable things guys. Lol 😆
Caught the tail end of him doting about how great it looked because he was a fountain of overflowing compliments!!
I joked that he would have made the best marketing campaign…

This was a special treat for her heart and as I’ve said before, there’s so much more to you than just loving your hair. ❤️
