Hey y'all! After 25 years, 19 of those at Aperio, I will be semi-retiring at the end of December. This has been an extremely difficult decision for me but I feel it's what is best for my body. I have been having a lot of trouble with my hands and my back. Coupled with my already bad knees, it is becoming too painful to continue doing hair on a full-time basis. However, I will continue to work 1, maybe 2 days a week. I will still be in my current location on East Kings in Centenary Square until at least the end of January. I am keeping the current phone number so I can still be reached that way.

I have had the most amazing clients and so many great employees throughout the years. I am beyond grateful to everyone who helped make Aperio last for 19 years and I thank you all. 😢🩷🩷🩷

Hey ya’ll!! I will be opening back up on Saturday May 16! I am excited to see everyone. Appointments that were canceled during the shut down will be scheduled first. Please be patient with me while I try to accommodate everyone!! The State Board of Cosmetology has issued new rules and regulations that must be followed for me to remain open. Please read the following rules and regulations!

You will NOT be allowed in the salon if you do not have a face mask. I will have disposable masks available if needed.

1. Clients must wait outside of salon and observe social distancing requirements.
2. Each staff member and customer shall be screened upon entry to verify the individual does not have symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or a temperature exceeding 100.4. Individuals with symptoms consistent with COVID19 or a temperature exceeding 100.4 will not be permitted in the salon.
3. Each staff member and customer shall certify in writing they have not had fever or other symptoms consistent with COVID-19 within the past 72 hours and have not been in contact with any individual with fever or symptoms consistent with COVID-19 within the past 14 days.
4. Each staff member and customer must wash hands with soap and water upon entry to the salon and prior to exiting the salon, with hand sanitizer available at the salon entrance.
5. Each staff member and customer shall wear a face covering while in the salon. Cloth coverings must be laundered and dried at high heat daily.
6. Records of all services including the customer’s name and date and time of service shall be maintained by the salon for three years.
