End of an era 💕 Today I close the doors to my salon and hand my keys in but I will forever carry the memories, the laughter, and the amazing people I’ve met along the way. I can’t thank you all enough for the love and support these last couple years. This little salon has been such a big part of my life and I’m so grateful for everyone who’s been part of the journey.

✨ Important Announcement ✨

After much thought and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to close Pure Olive Salon & Spa due to ongoing health challenges. This is not a decision I ever imagined having to make, but it is the best choice for my health moving forward.

I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your loyalty, support, and trust over the years. It has been an honor to be part of your lives and self-care journeys, and I will forever be grateful for the memories and relationships built inside the salon.

For those who would like, I am more than happy to provide your color formula and recommendations for other trusted stylists in the area to ensure a smooth transition. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly.

As I am heading back into the salon taking more and more clients every week this is a reminder if you are sick please reschedule your appointment. I have multiple chronic illnesses that cause me to be immunocompromised and catch any sickness you have very easily. And when I get sick that causes a huge change in my schedule and having to reschedule other clients so just be considerate and reschedule if you’re sick. There will be no cancellation fee if you are sick and reschedule your appointment.

I am so happy to announce that Pure Olive Salon & Spa is open again. Things are going to look a little different via my schedule, services and booking for the time being. Unfortunately I am still battling some health things and will have to focus mainly on my health but I want to get back into work. My life has been a rollercoaster the last couple months and I appreciate everyone who has been super supportive of everything!

Here are some things you need to know:
1. My hours are going to look different every week. My hours are shortened just while I build my strength up to being back full time. Right now my body feels best mid day so no early mornings or late evenings for now. I also still have a ton of doctor appointments and physical therapy twice a week so my hours will go around that too.
2. I am slowly getting back to offering bigger services such as colors but as of right now I am sticking to the basics such as haircuts, all over colors, root touchups, facial waxing and facials. (I am no longer offering Men’s haircuts)
3. Booking is going to look a little different. I am still using my booking system to schedule people and checkout but due to only taking small services and my hours being weird online booking is not an option right now. You can send me a message via my phone number, Instagram or Facebook which are all listed on my website. I will also post openings on all my social media platforms so keep an eye on that.
4. I may need to take breaks during a service to put my legs up or lay down to regulate my heart rate or get some electrolytes in me. I will try my best to prepare for services or take breaks while a color is processing. I have good days and bad days and I listen to my body. I will do my best to make it to every appointment but some days my body says no so I may have rescheduled on bad days.

I know this is super late but with everything going on the last couple weeks it slipped my mind but better late than never.
June 17th marked two years of Pure Olive Salon & Spa being opened. I am so thankful for everyone who has supported me the past two years and especially the last couples weeks. I am happy to say I am slowly getting back to myself and I hope to be back in the salon soon for smaller services so make sure to keep an eye out for a message from me!

Here is a small update for everyone. I ended up in the ER last Thursday and was admitted to the hospital and transferred to a different hospital so they could run a ton of tests.
I got discharged after a couple days and have been home resting for the last couples day. I unfortunately have no ideas on when I will be back in the salon. I will keep everyone updated as soon as I know. Until then my booking site is closed for now and I have a list started of clients to message as soon as I decide to reopen, if you would like to be added to that list send me a message. I also totally understand if you need or want to go somewhere in the meantime time while I am figuring everything out. I have some recommendations and I can share what I do so that way you have it. Don’t be afraid to send me a message, I may not answer right away but I promise I will answer as soon as I can. I have a long road ahead of me and I appreciate everyone’s support as I am navigating life with this new diagnosis.

Unfortunately I am still struggling with some medical stuff right now. I am taking a couple weeks off so we can figure out what’s going on and focus on my health. I do not have a set date on when I will be back in the salon. I have a list of people to message when my booking will open back up, if you want to be added to that list let me know!
I am so sorry for any inconvenience this causing. And I appreciate everything who has checked in on me and has been super flexible and understanding about everything! 🤍

I am so thankful for all the support I have received during this time. I do not know when I will be returning to the salon full time but I will make sure to keep everyone updated.

My goal is to slowly get back into work this week taking 1-2 clients a day for small services. I am sorry for any inconvenience this has caused!

2 years ago today May 21st 2023 we were in the salon getting everything ready to be open 🤍
It is crazy to see how far I have come in just a couple years of being open! I couldn’t be more thankful!
