As we take a moment to reflect on September 11, 2001, we think of the families and communities that are still in mourning after such immeasurable loss from such tragedy. We will never forget that day or the days after. The names that are lovingly and painfully read every year to remember all of the loved ones who didn’t make it home that night. The first responders and all that jumped into action that may have made it home but had the fight of their lives waiting to rear its ugly head.

No words will ever be able to express the sadness and pain that overwhelmed all of us that day and has ever since.

To those that fought and continue to fight for our country, the communities that came together, the families that were broken apart and all that were affected by the attack on that horrendous day, our love and prayers are with you.

We pray for peace, healing and mercy over you and your loved ones.

We will never forget.

Here’s some waxing tips to live by!

1- Exfoliate 2-3x weekly to treat and prevent ingrown hairs. You can use a brush, gloves, scrub or serum.

2- Apply serum to treat skin concerns- Clogged pores, hyperpigmentation, spots/scarring, ingrown hairs, dryness, etc. A licensed esthetician/skin specialist can recommend the right one for your skin type/concern if you need guidance

3- No fragrances immediately after. That goes for wipes, oils, deodorant, clothes with perfume/cologne on them, washes, etc.

4- Dress comfortably. No need to be cute for us, babe. You can dress down, wear comfy underwear, go commando or just wear something that makes it easy for us to access the area being waxed.

5- Stay hydrated. Better skin health= Better waxing results.

6- Control your anxiety. Breathe, scroll on your phone, watch something, talk, take ibuprofen beforehand…something…anything. Just stop focusing on us lol.
