There will always be different opinions in fitness—and that’s okay.

One thing I want people to understand is this:

Not every tool has to be perfect to be valuable.

Your Apple Watch isn’t 100% accurate.
Your weather app isn’t 100% accurate.
Your GPS changes your arrival time as you drive.
Your bathroom scale fluctuates daily.

Yet we still use them because they help us recognize patterns and make better decisions over time.

That’s exactly how I use an InBody scan.

I never base a client’s plan on one scan alone. I combine it with progress photos, strength, measurements, body weight trends, lifestyle, recovery, and how they’re actually feeling.

Could one number be off? Absolutely.

But when those trends continue moving in the right direction month after month, that’s where the real value is.

As coaches, our job isn’t to chase perfect data.

Our job is to gather consistent information, look at the whole picture, and help people make informed decisions that lead to long-term results.

Because great coaching isn’t about one number.

It’s about seeing the story those numbers tell over time. 💙

Shoutout to AP Performance athlete Lyla Rose ! 🥎🔥

Huge congratulations to my client, Lyla Rose, on being named Telegram & Gazette Player of the Year! What an incredible accomplishment and one that’s been earned through consistency, discipline, and countless hours of work behind the scenes.

I’m proud to be a small part of Lyla’s journey by helping support her performance from the nutrition side. She puts in the work and it’s exciting to watch that dedication translate into success on the field.

Congratulations, Lyla! The future is incredibly bright, and I can’t wait to see what’s next. 💪🥎

🚨 AP PERFORMANCE COMMITMENT SPOTLIGHT 🚨

Big congratulations to new AP Performance athlete Owen Kerr on his commitment to continue his academic and football career at Bates College! 🏈🎓

Owen comes to AP Performance from Saint John’s High School, and I’m excited to work with him as he prepares for the next level.

College athletics demand more than talent. Proper fueling, body composition, recovery, consistency, and understanding exactly what your body needs to perform are all pieces of the bigger picture.

My goal with Owen is to use data and individualized nutrition strategies to help him enter college prepared to perform, recover, and continue developing as an athlete.

Congratulations, Owen! I’m excited to be a small part of your journey and can’t wait to see what’s ahead at Bates! 💪🏈

The work continues. The level changes. The standard doesn’t.

ATHLETE RECOVERY MATTERS. 🏈💪

I’m excited to recommend Michelle, owner of Michelle Ludvigson in Millbury, to my AP Performance athletes and families.

Michelle brings years of hands-on experience working with athletes of all shapes, sizes, and levels—including her experience providing sports massage for Boston College Football team and to current New England Patriots player, Harold Landry III 💪🏻

Her specialty in deep tissue and sports massage makes her an incredible resource for athletes who are serious about taking care of their bodies, improving recovery, and staying healthy as the demands of their sport increase.

At AP Performance, I talk a lot about nutrition and fueling—but performance is about more than what you eat. Training, recovery, mobility, and taking care of your body are all pieces of the puzzle.

Especially for my young athletes looking to compete at the high school and collegiate level, learning to invest in your body early matters. You can’t perform at your best if you’re constantly ignoring recovery.

I’m proud to recommend Michelle as a trusted local resource for my AP Performance athletes. 💪🏈

Fuel your body. Train hard. Recover with purpose. Take care of the body you’re asking to perform.

If you’re weighing yourself between your InBody appointments, remember…

The scale only tells you what you weigh. It doesn’t tell you what changed.

One day of higher scale weight could simply be:
✔️ More water
✔️ More carbs
✔️ A hard training week
✔️ More food in your system
✔️ Poor sleep

It does not automatically mean you gained body fat.

That’s why we use your InBody scans. They show us what’s actually changing—muscle, body fat, and body composition—not just your total weight.

One more thing…

If I have you in a calorie deficit, your progress is based on your 7-day average, not just Monday through Thursday.

If every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday you’re guessing, not tracking, or going way over your calories, that’s 43% of your week. Those weekends can easily cancel out the hard work you put in during the week.

The goal isn’t a lower number on the scale.

The goal is more lean tissue, less body fat, and better performance.

Trust the data. Stay consistent. We’ll let the InBody tell the real story. 💪🏻

Some athletes are gifted.

Some athletes are relentless.

Zach is both. 💪🏻🏈

Watching Zach grow over the past year has been incredible—not just as a quarterback, but as a young man.

The article talks about his eight Division I offers, throwing for over 1,500 yards and 15 touchdowns, being named a team captain as a sophomore, and even having the opportunity to learn from Bill Belichick , who spent time talking with him about quarterback mechanics and seeing the game on a deeper level. Those are amazing accomplishments… but they didn’t happen by accident.

What I get to see is everything people don’t.

The commitment to showing up.
The willingness to be coached.
The consistency.
The attention to recovery, nutrition, and building his body the right way.

Over the last several months, Zach has added quality lean tissue, gotten noticeably stronger, more explosive, and continues to move like an elite quarterback should. The physical changes have been incredible, but what impresses me most is that he never acts like he’s arrived. He’s always asking how he can get better.

One thing he said in the article really stood out to me:

“There’s always another level I can reach.”

That’s exactly why he’s where he is today.

Talent opens doors.

Work ethic keeps opening new ones.

I’m incredibly proud to be a small part of your journey, Zach. Everything you’re earning is deserved, and I truly believe this is just the beginning.

Keep stacking the days. The future is bright. 👊🏈

You can train as hard as you want, but if you’re not fueling your body correctly, you’re leaving performance on the table. 💪🏻

The best athletes don’t just work hard—they recover well, fuel with purpose, and use data to guide their decisions.

That’s why I don’t believe in guessing. I believe in understanding your body, building a plan around it, and making adjustments based on real progress—not opinions.

Whether your goal is to earn a college scholarship, improve your game, or simply become a stronger athlete, nutrition isn’t optional… it’s part of the training.

Train hard. Fuel smarter. Trust the process. 🏆🔥

One of the biggest misconceptions in fitness is that once you become knowledgeable, you no longer need guidance.

The truth?

The best athletes, coaches, business owners, and professionals all have coaches.

Clay has spent years building himself. He’s a retired football player, owns Daily Dose Protein Parlor , helps people every day, and already has an incredible foundation. But even with all of that experience, he understands something that separates high performers…

There’s always another level.

He came in for a full AP Performance body composition analysis—not because he’s out of shape, but because he wants data, accountability, and a plan to fine-tune what he’s already built.

Sometimes the smallest adjustments are what move the needle.

That’s what coaching is.

It’s having another set of educated eyes, objective feedback, and someone who helps you see what you can’t always see yourself.

No matter where you are in your journey—whether you’re just starting or you’ve been training for decades—there is no finish line when you choose this lifestyle.

The goal isn’t perfection.

The goal is continuous growth.

Proud to be a small part of your next chapter. Let’s see what this next level looks like. 💪

Huge shoutout to Ramiro for reppin’ AP Performance! 👊🔥

He recently came in for an InBody scan and performance analysis, and now we’ve got a clear baseline and some mini goals to attack this summer.

The cool part? Ramiro is already in incredible shape with a strong foundation of athleticism. This isn’t about making massive changes—it’s about fine-tuning the details that can make a big difference in performance, recovery, body composition, and overall health.

Sometimes the next level isn’t working harder… it’s working smarter.

I’m excited to see what we can accomplish over the next few months. Thanks for trusting the process and representing AP Performance. Let’s get after it. 💪

I am BEYOND excited to announce that Madsen Louissaint is officially joining the AP Performance family! 🏈
This young man walked in with the size, the strength, and the hunger and I knew immediately we had something special to work with. Madsen is a 6’3”, 350 lb OL out of Lawrence Academy and the sky is the absolute limit for him.
My job is simple …to help him become the best version of himself on and off the field. We’re going to put in the work, build the foundation, and get him where he needs to be. I can’t wait to watch this kid grow. 💪
Big things are coming for this young man and I’m honored to be part of his journey. 🔴⚫
Let’s GET TO WORK. 👊
