A little story time because this one means a lot. 🥹🩷

Did you know this is the FIFTH time Babe Cave has won 1st Place for Best of Sierra Vista?

Fun fact: I haven’t even lived here for five years.
I had only been in Sierra Vista a few months when my little suite rental business was nominated. I barely even asked people to vote because I felt so awkward about it. 😂

That night they called my name for 1st place… and I literally didn’t move. I was SHOCKED.

What nobody knew was that I had made myself a promise: if I won, I would take the bigger leap.

I wanted to open a brick-and-mortar—a pink little haven that provided amazing beauty services while also creating opportunities for other women to build businesses of their own.

So I did. 🩷

The following year, when Babe Cave won again, I was standing inside the very space that started with that little promise to myself.

And now… five 1st place wins later.

This one belongs to the entire Babe Cave. Every woman and every small business inside these walls has helped make this place what it is today.

And honestly, a HUGE congratulations to every small business owner out there doing the damn thing. This life is scary, stressful, humbling, beautiful and unbelievably rewarding.

It takes guts to bet on yourself.

Five times later, it still means everything.

“But my lashes are still on… do I really need a fill?”

Yes!! and this is exactly why.

This extension is still attached, but look how far the natural lash has grown out. At this point, the extension is sitting near the end of the natural lash instead of close to the base where it was originally placed.

As your natural lashes grow, these extensions can start to twist, turn, droop and become annoying, even though technically they’re still attached.

During your fill, we don’t just replace the lashes you’ve lost. We also go through and remove grown-out extensions like this one and replace them with fresh extensions closer to the base.

So if you’re looking at your lashes at the two-week mark thinking, “I still have a lot left!” that’s great retention, but it doesn’t necessarily mean those lashes don’t need maintenance.

A good fill is about keeping your lashes full, balanced and comfortable as your natural lashes continue to grow.
