How do you prep your hair for a color service?
That is a question I get asked all the time. In all reality, there isn't much out of your regular recommended routine.
I ask that your hair is clean but not wet. Preferably washed the day before, use a good conditioner and maybe some leave in conditioner and no other products. Let air dry if you can! Otherwise, a light heat protectant is okay to blowdry so that your hair doesn't stay wet all day.
If lightening services are being done, I would recommend a k18 stand alone treatment at least a week before to minimize any damage. But that also depends on the current condition of your hair. I will still be using it every step of your color.
I do ask all new clients to use a color prep treatment, given at consultation, to avoid any buildup of product or oils on the hair. It is also available to regulars, just ask. ☺️🫶🏽

Trim or Cut? Here is what you should know! 👇🏽👇🏽
A trim is for maintenance. Usually, keeping the same shape and style just freshening it up.
A cut is what is typically done when asking for a "big chop." Or style change.
However, both are still the same process and take the same amount of time! That is the reason that they are the same price.
